Greetings NDRP!

We hope this message finds you all healthy and well. It has been a while since law enforcement command has updated the community about our applications and hiring and since there has been some sizable changes. We feel it prudent to give the community an overview about where we are heading for those interested in joining LEO at NDRP.

We would like to thank all members of the community for their continued interest in joining our law enforcement team here at NDRP. We know that for the last while we have not met our own expectations for where we would like to be in terms of processing applications, and getting members of this community into a beautiful LSPD or BCSO uniform, and for that we apologize.

However, moving forward there will be some changes coming that will impact all current applicants, and applicants moving forward. So, if you are interested in LEO please read this notice in full!

Firstly, we will be changing our application process significantly and there are a few things you should know. We will be denying all current active applications for LEO. The reason behind this is because applications last opened in November 2021. We do not know who is still active in the community and who is still interested in LEO. Now, before you worry, all current applicants will be able to submit a new application when we open them next, without any kind of waiting period or penalty.

Moving forward, applications for LEO will open similarly to whitelist applications. They will be announced and will open for a full 24 hours. After the application period closes, a team of LEO command and supervisors will review all of the applications and either approve for an interview, or deny, based on the order they are received. This step will allow us to open LEO applications more often, and eliminate as much bias as is possible in reviewing applications.

After this step, not much has changed. You will be invited to an interview and sent the details via forum DM and the process remains the same. We hope that these changes will allow for a more streamlined process at applying and getting an opportunity to play LEO, as well as eliminate as much bias as possible while providing a steady stream of applicants to join us in LEO.

Please stay tuned and watch #staff-messages for updates on when applications will be open next.

Be safe all!
