Alex York

Alex York grew up in a broken home in Paleto Bay. After the death of her mother at a young age she depended on the help and guidance of her older brother in the face of the abuse given by their father. However during their teenage years and the suspicious death of their father, her brother ended up running away to Liberty City, leaving her to fend for herself. She work many unsavory and often criminal odd jobs as she struggled to survive in the rural towns of San Andreas. Eventually she moved to Los Santos in an attempt to leave her troubled past behind her.

Due to her past Alex is extremely slow to trust or let anyone into her inner circle. She often appears at first shy when meeting someone for the first time, but as time goes one this can often give way to abrasiveness as she attempts to push away those she is feeling are getting too close. Even those who are able to push past this are still kept at arms length as she does not want to ever feel vulnerable again. For those that are able to get past her defenses however, she is extremely loyal. She is willing to lay down life and limb for her friends, even if she doesn't expect the same in return.

When she was younger Alex use to abhor violence, but due to its necessity in her life she has grown numb to most to it. Even so she still has qualms about killing. She will refuse to kill unless it is absolutely necessary to her or her loved ones' survival. Even then she will not revel in it.
