Zina Zane

Character Synopsis:

Zina Zane was an orphan at the age of 12, after her father drove off a bridge while drunk driving. Zina’s mother was also in the car and they both drowned. Zina was placed in the orphanage system with her older sister Charlene, but they got separated and now Zina lives her life in search of her big sister wherever she goes. Zina ran away from her adoptive parents when she was 16 and never looked back, she lived the nomad life bouncing from city to city learning the streets. She met her first boyfriend shortly after she ran away and lived with him, they fell deeply in love but they were both in a hopeless place. He introduced her to booze and drugs, then broke her heart and abandoned her after 4 years. Zina today is an outspoken, confident, fearless and smart individual. She's an opportunist that is the life of the party. She works hard and parties harder. She's a functioning alcoholic who is running from her past of emotional abuse and abandonment. She is a reasonably friendly person and values family and loyalty. If you cross the lines with any of those things, she can respond ruthlessly. She makes her money through entrepreneurship that involves smart criminal activity, she also owns real estate and is a landlord to all of her tenants. She has a personal relationship with her tenants, each relationship unique in its own and this is how she has built connections in the city. She's an adrenaline junkie stepping into the racing scene, she hopes to find something to fill her void in this community. She's searching for a family, and she's searching for her sister, she's searching for a place to call home because she's been a nomad her whole life and is finally ready to settle in a city where she can become somebody.
