To Tree, or not to Tree?
Over the past little while, we have been testing out a foliage/tree addition to the server and wanted to gauge the Communities views on whether or not we should implement this. If the vote goes through for most people wanting this addition, we will still need to go through stress-testing this addon on the server, and any implementation would depend on the results of large-scale testing.
As of our testing, there is an average of 5-10% FPS loss due to this addon, so that's worth keeping in mind when casting your vote. But, given how much it adds, the performance decrease is fairly negligible (or at least in our limited-stress testing). These trees do not cause conflicts with MLOs and do not cause some of the stuttering issues that happen with some MLOs that have custom (non-GTA) textures.
Will leave this poll up for one week and will go forward based on the result of it there.
