Update Regarding Businesses

Hello everyone,

Many business changes are coming in the near future with the launch of 2.0. These changes mean that all businesses will need to be rebuilt by DoCL members in the new framework, and we are looking to begin that transfer over soon. Some of these changes can be seen in the most recent 2.0 Development Update found HERE.

For current business owners, an additional post will be made in the coming days regarding licenses and how to prepare for transfer to 2.0

With that being said, to help us process the current workload, we will be closing any new Business, Premises, Systems and Clubhouse licences from 7th May 2022.

We will however still update and maintain what is currently there, so transfers and things like that will still be done.

Clarifying update:

• Business licenses will be suspended after Saturday, May 7.
• Premises licenses will be suspended for new businesses after May 14. This is to accommodate the 7-day waiting period for premises applications.
• Business transfers will remain an open.
• Interior renovations are suspended until further notice. Imports are suspended until further notice.

IF your business is licensed on or before May 7, you must apply for your premises license on or before May 14 if you are interested in obtaining a premises. Business license applications received after May 7 will be automatically denied. Premises applications received after May 14 will be automatically denied
