Summary

In the early days of Black Lotus MC San Andreas community relations was a big stepping stone to settling down in the State of San Andreas, and really create a sense of community for the residents of Mirror Park. At the time, Road Captain Johnny Duncan came up with the idea of hosting a public motorcycle ride for the citizens, and to really give any one, motorcycle enthusiast or not, an opportunity to see what life on two wheels is all about. Alongside this, Ronnies Custom Choppers was always a proud sponsor, and open to take a look over peoples bikes before every ride as well.

On the 14th of July 2021, Road Captain Johnny Duncan hosted Black Lotus MC's first ever public ride that took every participant for a trip around the state of San Andreas on motorcycles.

Since then, Black Lotus MC have hosted Public Rides every single Wednesday at 9PM EST for anyone in the state, and it still to this day has new participants every week. Each public ride is lead and planned by Black Lotus MC's road team, consisting of our Road Captain, and our two Tail Gunners.

Long Term Effect(s)

I believe the Public Ride has become a staple event for the community. Most people know that it happens every single Wednesday, and a lot of people, new and old participate almost every week. I think the positive long term effects has been that new players in the community have a big chance at meeting likeminded people, wether it be MCs, or just your local civilians to forge bonds, and build a future for their characters. It allows for everyones characters to see what motorcycle club culture is all about, and maybe even be intrigued in that aspect of RP, or just forge friendships along the way.

It is a unique opportunity to just have some fun and relax with a bunch of good people in a safe enviroment.

We also end most of the Public Rides at a business or place of interest, thus helping Businesses or organizations gain a bit of traction through having 30+ people show up to their place of business and hang out / buy merchandise.
