To bring awareness to issues affecting the overall well-being of the public.
To support and research issues related to the well-being of the people of San Andreas.
To develop and support programs and resources to reduce recidivism in the criminal justice system.
To provide the services of social workers to aid individuals in identifying, solving, and predicting challenges that arise in day-to-day life.
Undertake endeavors related to public well-being as requested by the Governor of San Andreas, the State Legislature, and the Courts of San Andreas.

September 2021 - DHS Launches
April 24th, 2022 - Gentry Manor apartments converted into the DHS Shelter
August 30th, 2022 - Director James Wilson Retires and Command Member Greg Carmine assumes the Director role
December 4th, 2022 - DHS Leaves the Medical branch and becomes its own Government Department.
June 7th, 2023 - DHS gets its fleet of vehicles including food trucks and minivans.
