THE STORY BEHIND NEXT ORBIT SPEEDFEST

Let me tell you something straight from the heart. Next Orbit Speedfest did not start as a business plan. It did not start as a meeting or a proposal or anything polished. It started as pure adrenaline. A spark. A moment where passion punched through reality and refused to back down.
It all began on a night like any other. Me (Leo Archer) and my best friend (Daniel De Rolo) were doing what we always do, talking cars and chasing the idea of speed the way some people chase sleep. The conversation was stupid at first. Jokes, wild dreams, bragging rights. But then we hit one question that froze both of us in our tracks. Why are we still racing in the shadows? Why are we risking everything when San Andreas is packed with talent, energy, and people hungry for a legitimate scene?

And that was it. A switch flipped. The air changed. The idea felt electric. We knew right away it was crazy. We also knew we could not ignore it. So we started doing what dreamers do. We broke the whole thing apart and tried to figure out how we could possibly make this happen. How do we get legal racing? How do we build something with structure? How do we make this bigger than just us? And the question that hit the hardest. Why should two friends think they can pull off what nobody else has ever managed to do?

Normal people would probably stop right there. But we are not normal. We live for pressure. We thrive on things that sound impossible. So instead of thinking about why we should stop, we put our heads down and went all in. We talked to anyone who would listen. And I mean anyone. The feedback was wild. People were excited. People wanted it. But they also hit us with the truth. This had been attempted before. And every attempt ended in failure.

Hearing that did not discourage us. It did the opposite. It lit us up like nitrous. If everyone else had crashed and burned, then we wanted to be the ones who kept the wheels on the ground and pushed through the finish line. So we started reaching out to people who had the same fire. People who lived and breathed this world. People who understood the vision without us having to sell it.

The first was John Brave, co-owner of Great Bear Customs and the face behind Tuesday Cruiseday. John gets the car community in a way you cannot fake. The second was Marshall Davis, photographer, PW employee, long time racing fanatic, and one of the most dedicated people you could ever meet. With people like them backing us up, the idea transformed into momentum. Momentum turned into a plan. And the plan turned into the moment we submitted our application to DoCL. I swear I have never felt something hit so hard. It felt like standing on the starting line, engine roaring, waiting for the green light.

And then the light turned green. Next Orbit Speedfest became official. Real. Alive. The first time I heard engines tearing across a legal track because of something me and Daniel started, it felt unreal. The first crowd cheering. The first launch. The first moment where I knew we actually did it. It was like every dream I ever had about racing suddenly stepped into the daylight. We built something this state has never had before. A place where speed is celebrated. A place where racers feel seen. A place where the community finally gets the respect it deserves.

And let me make something very clear.
This is not the finish line.
    This is the starting line.
Next Orbit Speedfest is only going to get louder. Faster. Bigger.
Buckle up. The future is coming in hot.

I am Marshall Davis, Current Owner of Next Orbit Speedfest. It is honestly hard for me to put into words the pride this business makes me feel. Leo and Daniel explained it best. I appreciate this community allowing this to exist.
