Originally founded in 1964, the bright blue building was abandoned when found by Sally in late April. With her name already on the building, and what looked like plenty of dusty supplies lying around inside, Sally made the decision to enter the custom surfboard making business.
After talking with Kelly Caliber, she applied for a business license and promptly got one on April 26th 2021. From there she applied for a premises license, which she acquired on May 13th 2021, allowing her to fully open for orders.
Sally moved into the apartment above the shop shortly afterwards, and eventually had
Public Works make some exterior additions to the building, including an incredibly vital hot tub. Since then Kraut and Sons has done all other additions, allowing for some very helpful roof access.
Currently Sally still works and lives there. The surf shop sells a much wider variety of goods now, from food and drink, to collectibles like bodypillows and skateboards, and they even make a variety of apparel now. All of the surf shop's apparel is available at local clothing stores, none of it being for sale from the shop itself, and is primarily swimwear that's comfortable for all shapes and sizes.
