2022, Hell’s Kitchen, NYC
Hell’s Kitchen used to be labelled as one of the dirtiest, least developed and smallest neighborhoods in New York. It was also ethnically split into communities that housed Italians, Eastern Europeans, Irish-Americans and Hispanics. There used to be several crews down on the streets that were comprising all kinds of social categories: greasers, mobsters and drug addicts. One guy was to emerge though from this slum-like area and label it as home turf: Finley O’Sullivan. Originating from Ireland, he managed to round up several residents that were getting harassed or bullied by other street gangs or families. Throughout the district within weeks, operating out of shitty hideouts and rooftops of run-down residential buildings of Hell’s Kitchen, Finley and his newly formed crew started ruling the area with an iron fist, successfully managing to put a dent into the other families everyday business. With the help of his street soldiers, he managed to overrun almost half of the entire underworld that was terrorizing Hell’s Kitchen. With the help of runners, he even started cutting out a slice of the drug manufacturing & trafficking business, such as weed & heroin. Shortly afterwards, in an apartment that was localized on the top floor of a townhouse building, while his family were enjoying some of their fine Irish Whiskey that Finley distilled and bottled himself and while playing some cards, Finley decided the group needed to host their first reunion meeting where they discussed future plans and business for the gang.
After a long debate and intensive talks that day, it would be known from that day forward, that they were they were gonna call themselves “The Syndicate”, and would operate mostly in silence and off any radar, mainly including the polices, which happened to have been extremely vigilant and heavily present in Hell’s Kitchen due to ongoing mob wars, and that they would run themselves like any other family-based mob from New York. It was also decided that the crew would split their numbers and half of the gang would stay in Hell’s Kitchen and the second half, with Finley and several notable members of the gang, would move over to the city of Los Santos to explore new business opportunities and establish a second base of operations there for their business to flourish.
