    History:

    Weazel Corporation (or WeazelCorp) was formed in March of 2021 bringing the companies of, Weazel News and Rebel Radio under the same flagship media organisation. Starting out small, Weazel News initially covered crime situations and interviewed Government employees.

    On March 28th 'The Naked Truth' show hosted by Billy Banter began. Its first story was about the Premium Deluxe Motorsports first ever Car Raffle which ended up causing violence. 'The Naked Truth' show continues to this day with less regular broadcasting.

    On March 30th a Bomb Threat was called in at the Weazel News Building, allegedly by 'Coco the Chicken Bomber.' Talent and Journalists Dan Dorfman covered this story. The incident came after the Chicken Bomber allegedly attacked a local gas station.

    In April of 2021, the first ever State Representative Election was held, Weazel News was one of the only news organisations to bring wall to wall coverage of the election, from its many scandals to the results. We also began more regular coverage of high profile court cases and interviews with Government employees.

    In May of 2021, election coverage continued with the results being released on May 11th. Scandal also broke internally with Weazel News, with a schism of sorts being caused by employees of Conglomerated National Television. Regular political coverage under the series called "Political Watch" was started by Harry Kennedy. We also provided round the clock coverage of the Apex Predator, and a shocking story by Frank Armstrong about the Los Santos Crime rate being as high as Rio De Janeiro. We also broke the story of Deputy Martindale, who was arrested for Weapon Theft from Mission Row Police Station.

    June of 2021 was by far one of the busiest news seasons in recent history, From covering stories about the closure of dispensaries to crime statistics being released for the first time and coverage of major crime scenes in Los Santos. June was by far a turbulent time for the state and Weazel News was ready to cover everything, from Protests to a peace offering barbeque. We also did extensive coverage of the first Los Santos Pride Parade. The major news story was the sudden passing of Representative Evan Lee which sparked a special election in July.

    July of 2021 was shadowed by the events of June, with the special election taking centre stage for the first half of the month. Weazel News and Rebel Radio covered this election extensively with daily updates available on the Weazel News website. We also broke the story about Assistant District Attorney Cassandra Cohens arrest and the subsequent lawsuits which followed the arrest. Weazel Corp also broadcast the first Episode of Los Santos Stories, by Lee Li Productions, a premier TV series about fictional stories in Los Santos, made in Los Santos by its citizens.

    August of 2021 started out with an awful set of criminal activity against civilians, government officials and police officers however the focus of the media and the state moved to the upcoming Fall election which saw James Paxton become the states 3rd Governor in September. During the campaign the incident surrounding a bear being kept inside public works was exposed along with incidents of police negligence, criminal gang activities and a devastating power plant explosion.

    September started with the state still reeling from the awful power plant explosion with more evidence being produced in regards to what happened on that fateful day. As the election campaign continued on the people voted and chose James Paxton as their new Governor, with Justine Stiletto conceding to the public. A tape containing the alleged voice of Becks Lawson was released into the public shocking voters who had just voted ms Lawson into the state legislature, in Ms Justine Stilettos remarks she states that Becks Lawson had hired hitmen to kill her. Shortly after the inauguration a long standing criminal case was being closed with the Trial of the Apex Killer. At the end of the trial a bomb threat occurred threatening to unravel the convictions just made in the trial. In august a bear was found inside Public Works, in September the man behind it all was found Not Guilty of Animal Cruelty in perhaps the most watched trial in state history. Weazel News extensively covered a lot of news this month.

    October was a month of some serenity with a Fun fair taking place on the Del Perro Pier, in mid october, a police raid on Representative Bennings house brought shockwaves of attention to an on-going inquiry into the representative. The police found nothing in the search. While october was relatively calm, the 31st would mark the beginning of a month of chaos with communications being decimated and cult members kidnapping and drugging members of the Government. Weazel News employees were quite relaxed during the month of october, perhaps in wait for the Major Events of November.

    With the state only just recovering from the 31st of October, November arrived with the shock arrest warrant against Representative Benning starting a lengthy impeachment process. On the 4th the Governor spoke out openly against the 'illegal' arrest of the Representative, and only two days later the Lieutenant Governor of San Andreas suddenly resigned. Police on the 13th of November warned of a series of kidnappings in the state scaring people in to buddying up when going outside. On the 15th citizens protested or rejoiced when Representatives Bennings criminal case was dismissed, however the impeachment trial continued. Pillbox Records was raided in late november in a shocking story about business being a front for criminals enterprise. Investigations by Weazel News found a number of Businesses had been raided by the police in regards to fronts for criminal enterprise. Public Works started a sponsorship with Sprunk, a drink company, shortly after the announcement confusion surrounding a drink contaminant caused a disturbance across the city.

    In December, the LSPD raided Public Works. This story was one shrouded in secrecy because the police refused to give information to the press. Also in early december the impeachment trial against William Benning went ahead with the remaining representatives voting in favor of impeachment. The trial unearthed a range of conspiracies put in play by the representative including a phone call where the representative threatened to 'skin' a member of the Department of Justice. The impeachment brought a sense of calm after the storm however another storm showed up when Governor Paxton was kidnapped by cultists leading the state of a 48 hour man hunt for the Governor. He was later found alive and in a stable condition. This story was particular scary to cover as journalists were being targeted by the cultists as they made attempts to unearth information. This brought the state to the end of the Year. A lot had changed at weazel with the company loosing some senior employees however a new band of Journalists had joined the company to bring a new age to Weazel.

    2022
    January 2022 had arrived, and so had another election season with Governor Paxton announcing he would not run for re-election. Weazel had extensive coverage of the public debates while CNT News held their own debates. However the company rivalry came to a close with Weazel and CNT jointly hosting an election night show. Governor Vlad tod was elected and brought about a new holiday, Princess Robot Bubblegum Day.

    February brought a number of public interest stories to the public, from LSD being dealt at the town hall and the establishment of new political parties. Newly elected legislature Grace Stone also resigned during this period. Overall february was a typical month for Weazel News.

    March Weazel News covered the special election and the chaotic campaign where Bevans Garvey encouraged civil unrest against a police department. Weazel also covered the slow decline from CNT News which was undergoing extensive legal proceedings in regards to the publication of names and information against the wishes of a court order. By the end of March Weazel News' main rival had completely collapsed. Weazel also covered the protests against Mt Zonah's mask policy and the incident where a representative was shot by a doctor after being attacked by the representative. Weazel also covered the establishment of a new political party, to rival the current governing body of the Progress Party.

    April bright upon a new election season and all its controversies, such as the Lieutenant governor being accused of sharing internal correspondence. The potential for impeachment against a Judge and a return to the legislature from a familiar governor.

    In May weazel was full steam ahead with producing content around the clock for viewers including Live broadcasts of Major Events and live election coverage.
