We understand that having wheelchairs may be exciting for some! It's a fun RP avenue to go down and a great way to expand on MedRP.
However, there are some things that you need to know first and some rules that you must follow.

IC:

1) If you ask for a wheelchair, you will not be given one. The only reason wheelchairs will be assigned will be for diagnosed medical injuries that require them, which is determined after proper testing and diagnosis (ie, surgery, x-rays, etc).

2) The chairs have an expiration date, and once that date passes you must come back in for another check-up appointment to determine whether you are fit to walk around again without a wheelchair.

OOC:

3) If we find you are misusing the chair, for doing tricks, committing crimes, instead of using it for legitimate RP, you may lose the privilege to ever receive a wheelchair again.

4) If you find yourself to be in a hostile situation it is okay to defend yourself, however if in a hostile situation just make sure you are not baiting any form of violent conflict.

5) Please note that you will no longer be able to get in your wheelchair when the time prescribed has expired, deeming the wheelchair unusable by any one person.

6) If you are wanting the RP of having a wheelchair and do not know how to go about it, please /ooc your doctor and ask for some coaching on this avenue of rp, we are always happy to help coach people in MedRP!

7) It is not fail RP to have 2 broken arms and 2 broken legs and be using a wheelchair, the reason being, there are electric wheelchairs that do not require much arm movement. Just make sure you are RP’ing your injuries out accordingly.

8) Wheelchairs do need to be filled up with gas, but you may still RP out it being an electric wheelchair. This is just the way the wheelchairs are designed and developed. Additionally, please avoid curbs, as wheelchairs don't work properly going over them.

If you have questions, please direct them to #support in Discord and we'll be happy to answer them.

A special thanks to SAMS Command and the Admin+ team for their contributions to this guide!
