Benjamin Harrison was born in Vice City to Olivia and Frank Harrison. Growing up he had a younger brother Isaac who was born three years later. Benjamin's and his family grew up in the poor and rundown area in Vice City. His father worked two jobs because he was in debt to the nearby gang for the house they lived in. Benjamin never really got to see his father because of this but soon his luck would turn around.

Benjamin went on to finish high school and get a job. With this he helped his father get his family out of debt and continued to help out his family financially. Unfortunately this is where the luck ran out for Benjamin. Benjamin's father was more involved with the local gangs than he realized. His father ended up getting killed due to this, his mother and brother taken away and Benjamin was left on his own in Vice City with no one left wondering why he was spared. Benjamin didn't want to give up on the rest of his family but he had no idea what to do. He knew if he stayed in town he would end up like his father. He decided to leave town and go to Los Santos. Hopefully there he would hope to start over.
