"When life knocks you down, knock it the fuck out".

Cameron's childhood couldn't be considered orthodox. Growing up in the dead centre of Seattle, Cameron's early years can be defined by a whimsical fascination with the circus. From a young age, the bright colours and brighter lights of carnivals and festivals that passed through their home town captured their imagination - so much so that by age 5 Cameron had enrolled in their first tumbling class, much to the chagrin of their mechanic father and wariness of their botanist mother. Even though neither held them back, neither did the young Cameron seek their approval in pursuing their interests. More acts followed - Rings, Silks, Clownery, Contortion. Cameron wished to be the centre of the stage and the brightest act under any light.

That changed after their fourteenth birthday. As a young child - Cameron had always had questions about their gender. Jeans, Football and Video games never appealed to them - their heart long captured by tiaras, dresses and pastel pinks. On stage, Cameron performed under a feminine identity and embraced the ability to actualize themself in a way that perhaps other kids or even their parents might not understand. Deciding to open the pathway for that, Cam dressed in their nicest dress that day - only to be met with the close mindedness and cruelty of pre-teen/teenage boys. Mocked and bullied - Cameron ran off, re-inventing themself in the image of safety in their life and taking on a more hardened persona.

As Cameron got older, things a defining part of their personality took root - an innate stubbornness and inability to compromise that still plagues them to this day. Though they would over the years mellow out - no longer taking every oppurtunity to fight everyone and anyone who challenged them, Cam still worked their way through the world with a simple modus operandi - punch the world in the face before it can punch you.
