Growing up, Caterina had everything she could every ask for. Her family was heavily involved in the business, and they had the money to show for it. Most would think she'd grow to be a spoiled little rich girl but her father made sure that she valued what she was given and knew that you still needed to work hard for what you wanted. Her mother stayed home, taking care of the house while her father was away busy with work. Caterina went to a private school, took piano lessons and had a generally normal childhood. She was taught from her mother how to cook, clean and keep the house going. Typical for most Italian woman but her mother was very much respected in the family just from being the wife of Tony. Caterina loved her family, blood and not. Uncle Bobby spoiled her whenever he came to visit. Doted on her, claiming she was his favorite niece when in fact she was his only niece. She knew this but loved her Uncle all the same.

When Caterina was 20, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctors swore with treatment she would be able to still life a long life, that they caught it early. Yet the treatment didn't work and after four years of fighting, Tony and Caterina lost the most important person in their lives. The lose was hard and they grieved. It was after the loss of her mother that Caterina felt she needed to step up and take over, caring for the house and taking care of her father. She took over the cooking, the cleaning and making sure that her father had a nice meal when he'd come home from a long day of work. The next year and a half spiraled out of control for Caterina and her father.

The next loss hit Caterina hard when her grandfather Alfonzo and Bobby died. She was at work when the news came from her father that they'd been gunned down. Alfonzo was the head of the family and a very important person to the Moretti Family. The family went to take a deal with another family and were wiped out. The only person that made it out alive was her father and that was because he was outside in the car waiting. When Tony told Caterina the news she was devastated. Her grandfather and uncle were one of the few people she had left in her life after her mothers death. This also meant Caterina and Tony's lives were put in more danger than before. As the days went on, Caterina got more paranoid. She would take note of the cars she'd see slowing down when she was going to work, or cars she would see sitting outside of their apartment when she would be home.

Voicing these concerns with her father, he felt the same way. They were the last of the Moretti Family and they knew that the rival family would be thinking that Tony would try and take up the name once again, but her father didn't want that life. The next couple of weeks they planned. Their plan was to leave Liberty and put some distance between this city, their old lives and the dangers that came from it. Packing up whatever they had the pair of them headed off across the country to Los Santos

The last few months in Los Santos has been a roller coaster of a ride for Caterina. First she helped her father get his dream, his cab company. She wanted nothing more then for him to have what he's wanted his whole life. After that she went on to try and find what she wanted, what the city had to offer her. She went into Event Planning, something she still does to this day, but it wasn't what she wanted, what she had a passion for. Taking a step back she worked on her personal life, her life with Owen.

She never would have expected that one taxi ride would have turned into someone she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. The start of their relationship was rocky, she didn't really want anything like that in her life at the moment, but he didn't give up. The two ended up hitting it off and one thing lead to another and now she's married to the man she calls her best friend and love of her life. Since then she's found her passion in baking, something her and her mother used to do and something special that reminded her of her mother. Opening Holy Cannoli was exciting for Caterina, and she's looking forward to seeing where it will go in the future.

Caterina has more people in the city that she calls family than she ever thought possible. The original Cab team has and always will be famiglia to her. She'll stand beside them and do what she can for them. Brodee, Sunny and Artemis she never thought she'd come to love them as much as she does but it's odd how people can just come into your life and make a permanent place to stay. There is still a lot up in the air for Caterina, where life is going to take her.
