Coral was born to two loving parents, Mollie and Peter Blackbyrd, as the youngest of three siblings. Her older siblings, Chase and Charlie, were what one would call "mean" to Coral. That is to say, they'd bully her to "toughen her up." Eventually, the children would age out of their antics and become protective of Coral. At around 16, Coral chose to enter a career in medicine, following her mother Mollie's path. Her father is a factory worker. She attended University and majored in Nursing.

Coral is shy and tends to speak softly, but is equally kind with no "mean bones in her body." She tends to try to make friends wherever she goes, but may be a bit too anxious or nervous to speak up.

Coral was previously employed as a nurse in Indiana, then joined the EMS Department as a transfer. She later transferred to San Andreas as a Paramedic in SAFR.
