Danielle grew up in Mansfield, VIC; a country town about 2:30 hours outside of the city of Melbourne, VIC. She was loved by her parents growing up, living a rather good life, Her parents put her and her brother Kyle in private schools.

Danielle met a guy named Jason in her final year of school; She knew he was the kind of guy to constantly be in trouble but something drew her to him. However she was quickly made aware that he was affiliated with a group whom he'd started involving Danielle in, which is where she'd started dipping her toes into the criminal life, and running security for the gangs legal business. However, the be all end all to that part of her life was; he put her in a situation which saw her to take someones life, She spent the next 6 months riddled with guilt. She ended up leaving for Los Santos when the guilt got too much and piling the death of her brother on top, she booked a flight, and didn't look back.

Upon landing in in Los Santos; Danielle found herself looking for a job; given her experience in Security she applied for Mt Zonah, as a Security Guard however, it took over 2 months to recieve a response and by that time She'd regained contact with old friends from her home town, Phoenix Carter and Raven Nightingale, she'd also met her now ex Ty Eza, whom she'd met while trying to get her best friend Raven to go out with one of the Ballas, Von Westbrook. He'd introduced Danielle into the world of crime and drugs again. This would be where Danielle would make a bunch of new friends that she would go on to call her family. Danielle and Ty would go on to get engaged, however, Ty would start to become jealous of Danielles friendship with Gina Carlisle.

Come Christmas time Danielle had been drawn closer to Gina, the two girls ended up leaving their relationships to start one together; struggling with her new found feelings, Danielle had reached out to Daphne Tillamuck for advice, Daphne at this point had gained a level of trust that Danielle had never given anyone. Gina has gone on the become Danielle's wife, and has given Danielle the strength to beat her alcohol addiction and to turn away from drugs. Their connections have been constantly growing, Danielle had been introduced to a group called The Collective, they claimed to run the Chop Shop down at the docks, Danielle would go on to become a blooded member however that was short lived due to Danielle choosing her family over a small time gang. She and Gina go on to be hunted by The Collective, However, this bought Danielle closer to the people she called family, especially Onyx Steele, Jack Valentino and Clara Evans.

Danielle has adopted two children since she moved to Los Santos; Phoenix Carlisle and Jose Carlisle. Danielle and Gina are starting to create their family together while remaining happily married and focused on having fun, causing chaos and making sure that they're more involved in their family.
