    History:

Early March 2021, Tony Moretti & Caterina Moretti arrive in Los Santos to become permanent residents. Tony had a friend in town who had left him a vehicle to use until he can get on his feet in the city. This vehicle was a Green Dundreary Regina. While Tony & Caterina were looking for a job and living out of a Hotel Room, they noticed the lack of Taxi services at that time. Although Tony thought he would end up trying something different for work after 26 years of Taxi, it was indeed what he knew best. Tony had brought his resume to Downtown Cab Co. but rumors were that they were going to close and they never did call Tony back regardless of his experience. So they took it upon themselves to start working right away with what Tony knew he could do, Taxi. They worked on giving themselves a name for this service. What made sense is that it was founded by family and using a family-type vehicle, the Regina. And so on March 20th 2021, the Famiglia Cab Company was born. Famiglia meaning Family in Italian since they are both Italian-Americans. Caterina would dispatch her father Tony to clients from the Pink Cage Motel, while Tony drove the Green Regina Vehicle. People responded really well to the service that was greatly needed in the city. They loved the vehicle and even had the nickname of "Dad Cab" for a little while.

March 25, 2021, the Green Regina got painted Bright Orange which oddly looks very close to a taxi color. This change was well received and made the vehicle look even more like a Taxi. The logo was also created to have the Regina within it. At this point, it was clear that the Regina would be the staple vehicle in the company.

March 28, 2021, The small start-up business was picking up faster than anticipated so it was time to expand with employees to help out as Tony could not handle the level of clients anymore. The first employee hired was Owen Grady. A new friend that Tony & Caterina had made in that week. From here, things quickly rose as they also started offering Private Vehicle services and working on adding Limousine as well. They moved their operation from the motel to an abandoned sewing factory building at the corner of Vespucci Blvd. & Popular St. which was very close to MRPD. This is where the company saw its first few employees. Several people had joined the Moretti's business venture and helped shape what the company became. The company was making a great name for itself as it provided a professional and effective service. But with virtually no competition and so many employees as well as knowing that the Downtown Cab Co. was officially closed, it was time to make a big move.

April 18, 2021. Tony & Caterina had approached the City and Public Works for renovations and possible ownership of the Downtown Cab Co. Building in Mirror Park. With the reputation built around FCC (Famiglia Cab Co.) already, it was nothing but time in the way of owning the building. Public Works went straight to work on getting the abandoned taxi building open and renovated. They had done a superb job with the building which lead Tony & Caterina to begin a new chapter.

On April 26, 2021, Famiglia Cab Co. became an official, recognized, and legitimate company in San Andreas as the Chamber of Commerce approved the business and its location. Then on April 27, 2021, FCC opened its doors with a special grand opening event. Offering BBQ (food and drinks), tours of the building, and presentations and speeches. It was very well received and the support only went up from there. The company officially started offering VIP services with Limousine and Town Car but this would evolve a little later.

May 2, 2021. A new fleet of vehicles was imported to Los Santos earlier that week. Among those was the Weeny Dynasty. As Tony was going to PDM to purchase another Regina for the company, he bumped into Oliver McKenzie, who told Tony that he should check the Dynasty out. Tony immediately fell in love with the vehicle. It resembled a very classic cab look from Europe. He left that day from PDM with the Dynasty which to this day now remains the staple taxi vehicle of the company. The Dynasty became official as of May 5, 2021.

May 13, 2021. FCC Stopped taking calls from anonymous callers. This was a security measure to keep drivers safer and having information on the client for their safety. In the event that a client decides to cause any trouble, this number could be either banned from the company or even reported to the police.

In Mid-May of 2021, Tony was already thinking of expanding on the business. Transportation had become a passion at this point so he called Public Works and more specifically, Husdon Chesterfield for the possible acquisition of a Bus. Seeing as they work in towing, Tony figured that Public Works may have a discontinued bus left at the scrapyard that could use some love. The project was explained to them as FCC wanted to start offering a Shuttle/Party Bus service and possibly even a city Bus Route later down the line. Public Works managed to get their hands on a Bus, repaired it, and even offered a complete livery reskin of the Bus to match the FCC colors with the logo. From this point on, FCC offered Shuttle Bus services.

The acquisition of the Bus still came at a heavy cost for Tony. Money was really hard to come by. Everything he had, was spent on the company at this point. Tony was giving Employee of the Week a $5,000 bonus to keep them motivated as in this business, it's not always fun and fares. They often would stand around, devoted and waiting to serve a client and sometimes go hours without a call while others days, too many calls would come in. But this would not make them as much money as no payrolls were provided yet and Tony was able to see the motivation dropping from his employees. Everyone worked for what they got from clients and that was very hard at times. Money was running thin for FCC and its employees. This is where Tony's daughter, Caterina offered to help set up a Fundraising event for the company. On May 21, 2021, a fundraiser was done on the Yacht and was successful at that thanks to the efforts of everyone involved. Caterina played a beautiful grand piano performance for about 1 hour and even had Tony sing as she played "Fly Me to the Moon" on Piano. The event raised $65,000 for the company and helped Tony continue to evolve the company from there.

From this point on, the company would start displaying all of its Patrons (Donators) on the Taxi Homepage of the website as a way to publicly thank them. While some donators remain anonymous by choice and not displayed, most are still displayed to this day. FCC even offers Patrons an invitation to the Company Email to receive weekly reports of the company as it was a way of being transparent with those who invest important amounts of money to FCC. Patrons are also lifetime VIPs in the company. People still, to this day, often show their support to the company with donations to the Owner of FCC, Tony Moretti.

June 13, 2021. The company finally got a Government subsidy payroll. This was needless to say, a glorious moment for the company. Months of hard work and meant that the employees were now paid for their work out of the Cab. Mainly important when they are standing around, waiting for calls for long periods of time, and usually not making money. This extra money helped motivate them to continue that dedication. Along with this change on the same day came lockers for the dressing room, to make it easier for the drivers to dress for the job (mainly for VIP clients or Chauffeur type jobs). Doors started getting locked at the company building as well. Making it a fully owned and secure building.

June 25, 2021. Tony officially announced the first Manager on Payroll (with pay raise), Valentin Romanov. A driver with an incredible track record of fares and constant availability. Valentin is a Manager, Cabbie, Bus Driver, Chauffeur, Dispatch, and even Pilot in the company. He is Tony's most reliable and trusted in the company at the time of writing this. He, like Tony, has the power to hire and fire employees and helps Tony a lot with the company behind the scenes.

July 2, 2021. The business was finally picking up with a slew of services, employees and more money but this felt confusing to Tony and the staff. Since FCC offered so many different types of services, it was finally time to create branches to the company. Enter, Chauffeur Services and Bus Route services. The website was redesigned completely to reflect all of these changes. Upon entering the landing page of www.FamigliaCabs.com you are greeted with the logo and a few buttons to click. These represent the branches of the company. One being the Taxi Company who at the same time as this, expanded on its VIP services with multiple packages. The second Button being The Bus Route which is a service being tested for a regular Bus Route. It currently helps people travel to and from the city and the northern part of San Andreas. The 3rd button is Chauffeur Services. This provides the client with white-glove services using a variety of vehicles (Town Car, Limo, Patriot Limo, Bus, Helicopter). The Chauffeur Service comes with intense training and is taken extremely seriously by Tony in order to provide the utmost best experience for every client.

July 4, 2021. A beloved employee who mainly worked as Dispatch had passed away on this day. He went by the name of Bubba Marsden. He was very well-liked and loved within the company and community. This was a very sad day for everyone at FCC as they had to say a final goodbye to their first and hopefully the last member of the family. The funeral was held on July 8.

July 17, 2021. A Job Fair was organized by The Ares Organization at the Mirror Park Soccer Field. During the Job Fair, Tony had announced something new coming to the city. Famiglia Cash Cab where lucky random passengers would get to ride in the Cash Cab Van and have a chance to win up to $5,000 on the way to their destination. This is currently still in the works and plans to see the light of day soon enough. Complete details on the website at https://www.famigliacabs.com/cash-cab
