Summary

Food Truck Friday is a monthly event run by DJ Spooky Entertainment, taking place on the last Friday of every month starting at 11:59 PM ET (though dates can shift slightly around holidays).

It’s basically a whole vibe, good music, food trucks serving up different bits, and just an all-round chilled atmosphere where everyone can come together and enjoy themselves.

It’s also one of the best spots for DJs and artists to actually get their sound out there. Whether you’re established or just starting out, Food Truck Friday gives people the chance to showcase their talent to a wider audience. A lot of artists use it to drop new tracks, and for some, it’s even where they perform for the first time.

History

This event came into fruition because at DJ Spooky Entertainment noticed there was little to no events for the late night hours of Los Santos. DSE wanted to be able to bring joy to those who would like to attend events more then they typically do! DSE has always been about the community and music of Los Santos, and love to bring other Businesses to be able to benefit at events such as Food Truck Friday.

Long Term Effect(s)

Over the course of three years, Food Truck Friday has become a staple of San Andreas. Employees of DJ Spooky Entertainment have been told that it is their favorite event. Some Businesses have invested in a food truck, just for Food Truck Friday. This event practically runs itself, all Businesses with food trucks are invited. What has been noticed is how excited civilians of San Andreas get for Food Truck Friday. Many make plans to go out of their way to attend the event. Food Truck Friday has had many theme nights and surprises, such as competitions and giveaways. Many memorable moments has happened at many different Food Truck Friday's that has been remembered for months to years.
