Jax grew up in a small low income community in St.Louis, MO. When Jax was 16 he got emancipated from his parents (Rachel and Tim Corsair) due to him being looked down upon as the bad egg younger brother. His Older brother Derek who was 5 years his elder was often treated as the golden child as he was a straight A student, a solider in the US Navy and a good Christian. Jax later found out a few years later his brother killed himself and since finding it out Jax's parents blame him for abandoning his brother.

After leaving his home Jax bounced around from homeless shelter to homeless shelter until he met a man who Jax called Pops. Pops was an older gentleman who took in kids off the streets, taught them useful life skills to help them get back on their feet. Pops was a windowed husband with 4 kids, three boys (Tomlan, Lincoln, Calvin) and 1 daughter (Dorothy). Jax for the next three years worked with pops on becoming a master painter for vehicle.

Two years pass after becoming a master painter and Jax is now 21 looking to get a bit more excitement in his life. One day he caught Tomlan driving a car he knew he didn't own. Jax pulled Tomlan aside and confronted him about it. Come to find out, Tomlan and Pops were running a chop business out of the shop and Jax never realized. Pops offered Jax two choices, he either keep his mouth shut or join them. Jax chose to Join this new business adventure.

4 Years had passed and Jax and Tomlan became very renown for their skills stealing cars and were sitting with good cash flow and living a life they never thought they could. Jax had stood up for his new found brother Tomlan, in his wedding, held his new nephew and met a woman of his own....Trisha or Trish for short. She didn't know fully what Jax did but accepted him for the character he was and cleaned his wounds when he got them. A couple years later Jax did the one thing he thought he never could do and that was purpose to this woman. They were set to marry in 2 years and Jax was for the first time happy. However the next year would change this.

The year was 2010 and Jax and Tomlan plus a small crew were hired to steal the most expensive cars of their careers thus far. Jax was to steal a Porche 911 limited edition model that only had about 100 made in the world worth roughly 1.5 million. Tomlan was to steal a much flashier 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago worth about half a million at the time. The Job was planned for weeks to make sure the crew knew where to be and how to run interference with the cops if they show. The job was a new time provider that Pop's was trying out for the first time and was given a quarter of a million up front as good faith. Little did Jax and Tomlan know this was a set up by one of the crew members who was pissed they didn't get a raise in rank inside the crew. This was a police sting on top of being cars owned by a very discreate mob. Jax and Tomlan the night of the job kissed their ladies goodbye and went out and started to steal the cars. As both ignitions turn over suddenly sirens are heard much closer than they should have been if at all. Jax radioed to Tomlan he is staring at 6 cop cars flying down the street towards him as he pulls out of the driveway. Jax see's Tomlin behind him now and they both say to each other see you at home. Jax and Tomlin take three cop cars separately and try to get away, however these cops had air support the second they left the area....this was now a set up Jax and Tomlan realize. Tomlin radio's he took a wrong turn and ended up cornering himself. Jax caring about his brother races to his location and see's Tommy being surrounded by cop cars going for a box. Jax radio's to Tomlan and says buckle up. Jax full throttles the rare Porche into the side of a cop car pinning it into a wall giving Tomlan the space to get out of the Box. Once Jax did this the Porches' front end was crushed and unable to drive efficiently and Tomlan see's Jax's car get slammed into a wall by an SUV police unit. Tomlan flips the wounded Lambo around and slam's back into the SUV. He hops out the car to check on Jax to see he is unconscious and tries to get the now crushed door open. Tomlan soon after feels voltage pour into his body from a tazer. Jax and Tomlan now arrested and sitting in Jail learn that their crew member Gritz was behind the set up as he snitched to the cops. Tomlan and Jax took the fall for the owners of the chop business and Pops after a year of fighting it was determined not to be involved with Jax and Tomlan. However Jax and Tomlan were released after 4 years from jail for "good behavior" and were met by a blacked out van at the gates.....what happens for the next years to come would Shape Tomlan and Jax forever.
