Kaisuka Kuutamo Tompuri (born Trinity Tompuri) was born in Wakonda, South Dakota to Henna Aho, a "free spirited" (read as: neglectful) woman from Kuopio, Finland. Henna meant to give Kaisuka her surname, but was too high to pay attention, and thus Kaisuka was given the surname of her father, who she has never met.

Growing up in a tiny town of less than 600 people wasn't the easiest. Kaisuka's mother was too busy dancing at the local strip club for all the married men in town to pay attention to her daughter, so Kaisuka was largely left to her own devices. She scoured the plains with the only other kids in town, and would hitch a ride on the local freight train to the next town over to see her other friends. Having quite literally no supervision the majority of the time, Kaisuka developed a taste for adventure at a young age, opting to play around town instead of go to school. Her mother didn't care, seeing school as a source of punishment and stress for kids instead of a place to grow, and put no emphasis on her education. Kaisuka rarely went to school after age 9, and dropped out by age 12; opting to partake in tax evasion by doing odd jobs for the townsfolk for extra cash. Her mother, while neglectful and often nose-deep into weed and alcohol, was generally pretty friendly to her daughter, leading Kaisuka to feel annoyed by her mother instead of scared.
