From a young age, Katie rarely stood out throughout her youth, however she excelled in sports, history and English throughout school. By the time she was 13, her parents had split up and she had moved house fourteen times by the time she was 18. Her father, Alan, had moved back to the states, Massachusetts, with her two brothers while Katie stayed with her mother, Michelle, in the UK.

Before Katie had turned 19, she had attended college and received qualifications in IT, and Social Sciences. She then set her sights set on a university degree..

Once she turned 19 however, Katie and her mother had decided to move to Washington State, USA, due to a promising job offer Michelle had received as a Chief Wellbeing Officer at an IT company. While there she got a job as a Mixologist at a 4 star hotel and later went to work as an IT Specialist at a manufacturing plant as a result of the toxic working environment of the hotel.

By the end of August, Katie had made a decision to move to San Andreas in hopes of enrolling at the University of San Andreas to do a medical imaging degree apprenticeship. Soon after she moved stateside, Katie got a job at Mt. Zonah as a security officer to help finance a place to live during her studies while she was a student radiographer.

After completing her degree, Katie was now a qualified Radiographer, at which point she left the security team to take up diagnostic imaging full-time. Soon after, she enrolled and passed Mt. Zonah Nursing Academy. Later on, Katie reached the role of 'Consultant Radiographer' and 'Registered Nurse' at the hospital and continues to work there today.
