Kilo Tray are a set of notorious Ballas founded in the 1970's. Traditionally of African-American descent. The history of the Ballas, when the gang was formed and historical events about the gang are shrouded in mystery.

The Ballas evolved were controlled by Grove Street Families prior to 1987 and since East Side Los Santos was split between GSF and Vagos prior to 1992. By ‘92, the Ballas are the largest and most powerful street gang in Los Santos and control most of the streets of Los Santos.

Due to the high ranking OGs being killed or sent to jail in the mid 90’s, the set was inactive for a few years but was later re-birthed in 2021 by a Balla OG named Darnell Whitescale AKA Dreadz, and have been controlling illegal activity in the streets of Davis ever since. Their members can be found all around Los santos but their particular hotspots are Brogue Ave, Covenant Ave and Grove Street. Their main set being Brogue Ave.

The Ballas have updated their ranks, are more open to ethnicities, and continue to carry on the Ballas Tradition. We have connections all over Los Santos. If you know where to look…and who to ask…

The Ballas have gained a reputation from being a fearful gang but also how they handle that fear. Being strong is one thing, being smart is a much stronger thing.
