Lincoln was born in Ember County, Texas. His family nearly owns the county by extension due to the large family owned ranching operation they run that the town thrives on. His family is very patriotic, with deep roots in military and
Law Enforcement. His uncle is the County Sheriff for Ember, with a few cousins and his older brother on the force. He has a sister and several cousins in the military, ranging from logistics personnel to Navy SEALs. He never aspired to do anything so impressive, and wanted to carve out his own life for himself, so he moved from Texas to Vice City when he was 20.
He worked as a Firearms Instructor for a few years at a shooting sports facility while also moonlighting as a model for ProLaps and Güffy before he applied to the County Sheriff's Office, wanting more out of life. He worked the jail for two years until he got invited to go Patrol at 25. He did standard patrol for another two years before transitioning to the Traffic Division as a Motor Deputy, which he did for the rest of his time with this agency. His side job as a model ceased about a year before he met Ava Riley.
He met Ava Riley while decompressing at a bar playing pool by himself, and the magnetism was unavoidable. The pair was nearly inseparable from the get go, their dates mostly consisting of offroading on precarious trails and exploring hard to find places where Nature still thrived. They would be married after 18 months together, taking his name.
His life drastically changed for the better after this, at home anyway. However, his work constantly threw him curve balls. He had a Fatal Officer Involved Shooting at a bank robbery that sent him into a tailspin for a few weeks, and immediately after recovering from that and getting back to work, less than a month later his partner and best friend, another Motor Deputy by the name of Andy Lakeman, was killed in the line of duty by a drunk wrong way driver as they were both responding to a call for assistance on the freeway. Lincoln was devastated, resorted to drinking heavily in a slump that was only salvaged by his wife. They decided the best move was to... move. Leave Vice City and get a fresh start.
They set their sights on San Andreas.
Lincoln and Ava came to San Andreas without much to their name. They shared a car and relied on fishing to make ends meet for the first few days. A chance meeting with the foreman of
Public Works, Bevans Garvey, saw Lincoln get a job as a towing specialist. He put a lot of hours into working with the goal of providing for Ava and him. Eventually, his connections saw Ava getting an in with the publications department of PWorks and started her on her graphical design work, where she promptly started making more money than him.
After a few months, Lincoln felt he was ready and sent a half hearted application to the BCSO with some minor encouragement from his wife, who was convinced San Andreas would be good for him. He was reluctant, waiting to do his interview almost at the last minute, and then waiting to do the academy almost a full month after his acceptance.
Now, he works as a Deputy for the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, clearing his FTO in July of 2021 and hitting the road solo. He primarily functions as a Motor Deputy when the opportunity arises.
