    Mandates:

The San Andreas State Police is committed to upholding the highest standards of law enforcement through a mandate focused on Respect, Integrity, Professionalism, and Excellence. Our core principles guide every Trooper of our agency in their duty to serve and protect our community.

    History:

The San Andreas State Police holds the distinguished title of being the first-ever law enforcement agency in the State of San Andreas. Established under the leadership of Commissioner Mac Moody, the department was officially formed on February 28th 2021. With a commitment to safeguarding the citizens and upholding law and order in the state. The San Andreas State Police embarked on a mission to create a safer and secure environment for all residents.

Due to organizational restructuring and the need for more localized law enforcement agencies, the San Andreas State Police was disbanded on April 19th 2021. This decision led to the division of responsibilities, resulting in the creation of the Los Santos Police Department and Blaine County Sheriff’s Office.

Despite being disbanded, the San Andreas State Police was reformed on January 6th 2022 on behalf of H.R. 078 thanks to Governor James Paxton and State Legislation. The State Police was reformed under the leadership of Commissioner Chris Solace. The newly reformed department set up operations at the Paleto Bay State Police Station. On February 15th 2022, the San Andreas State Police had their first swearing-in ceremony. Welcoming many new Troopers.

Commissioner Chris Solace retired from Law Enforcement. Leading the San Andreas State Police now was Thad Furtaw, the third sworn-in Commissioner. Commissioner Furtaws time as Commissioner was short however it consisted of great work, focusing on revamping the LEO Air Certification and combating aviation crimes.

When Commissioner Furtaw stepped down, Barry Hill was appointed as the Acting-Commissioner and was sworn in as the fourth Commissioner of the San Andreas State Police on August 3rd 2022. Barry Hill presently serves as the Commissioner of the State Police.

The San Andreas State Police experienced a notable period of growth and development, solidifying its reputation as a trusted and reliable law enforcement agency. Focusing on its four major principles: Respect, Integrity, Professionalism, and Excellence.
