Sevan Likely, birth name Sevan Tankian, is an Armenian-born woman. Birthed by Armine Tankian, she was abandoned soon after birth due to a rare health condition. Her birth family rejected her due to this, considering her a disgrace. She lived in an orphanage in Yerevan until age 11, when she was adopted by a British couple; Hattie and Alfred, a biochemist and museum curator/historian, respectively. From there, she spent two years in Canterbury before they relocated to Washington D.C. where she has lived ever since--up until moving to Los Santos. While working in the military, she acquired a PhD in Physics with a minor in Astronomy & Astrophysics from George Washington University and soon after became a full-time researcher at AURA. While going to university, she met a man named Fred Ashford, a law major, who took a liking to her due to her quiet and considerate personality. They also found a humorous relief in each other through being similarly tall, with Fred being an incredulously 3 inches taller than her already massive height of 6'6. They fell in love quickly, and after five years together, Fred proposed to Sevan. They moved into a house together and even adopted a dog; a rusty brown Goldendoodle named Charlotte.
Sevan's life seemed to be going well. She had a family who loved her, a future husband, an adorable dog, and a sturdy career. And yet, little did she know that simply who she is, as well as a tragic accident, would take all of that away.
One cold November, her fiance would abruptly break up with her after 6 years of bliss and peace together, callously citing his reason as if it was somehow her fault--that he couldn't build a family with a woman so tall and with a woman who couldn't have children. Both being things he had known the entire time. Just two weeks later, she would discover that he had already found a new woman--shorter, prettier, more womanly, able to have children, not Sevan. One week after that, her family would get into a wreck, claiming the lives of her grandparents and mother, and leaving her father on life support.
