Baylor grew up in a large family where her siblings are always trying to get one step ahead. It was a constant fight for spotlight and approval and acknowledgment from their parents. Baylor's parents were headstrong and well to do, her parents had a high standard and loved for their children to almost fight for attention. They sought satisfactory work and effort from them. Baylor was the second oldest child of four. Her older brother older by two years was the golden role-model child. He is always above standards, credible, charismatic, influential, and empowering. Baylor always wanted to be like him, she knew how much her parents adored him and that made her jealous. Her younger sister by 8 years is pampered, insensitive, manipulative, a snobby brat who loved being the attention sponge. Which she was not fond of and as they grew older they grew apart so much where they only tolerate each other during reunions. Baylor's little sister, younger by 14 years is radiant, confident, sweet-natured, candid, pure, and glorious. She was Baylor's pride and joy as a sibling.
It is a constant fight to be in glory exhausted her.. The black sheep of the family. When her father's eyes looked into hers she knew she wouldn't be outstanding so Baylor decided to stop trying to satisfy her parents because it was not getting her anywhere but constantly let down. One day in middle school the teacher was teaching a lesson about the future and job opportunities. A Fireman, a Nurse, an Officer, and a Lawyer came into the class that day. That day she really learned about what different options are out there for her. She really liked the topics that the Officer talked about when presenting. The second she came home from school she started reading books, reading articles, and looking into programs for becoming a Police Officer. Her eyes were shimmering with motivation and hope. Little did young Baylor know that that day in school lit a little candlelight of hope and dreams for her future where she would be successful. She sometimes gets flashbacks of her parents telling her she was a disappointment. Which is not the case at all. Baylor graduated high school eventually and started to study and study hard. She wanted to be successful for herself. She wanted to prove to herself that she is strong, she can do amazing things on her own without needing approval. Baylor then graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Psychology in no time. She was very smart and didn't need anyone to tell her otherwise.
A dream she did not forget about will soon be her reality. To be the best she can be and serve her community right. She loved her city. The lights in streets at the night-time, The vinewood sign glowing in the dark, The smell of fresh air on mount chiliad. The day came where Baylor put in her application for the Cadet Program with the Blaine County Sheriff's Office. Eager to get accepted day after day she would wait for a response. One day she was shocked to get alerted that she was accepted. She was so excited and ready to work hard to get where she wants to be. After completing the program she was hired on the force. She climbed through the ranks as she worked very hard. She shortly started riding with a Cadet named
Aiden Jax. Aiden and she started working together every day more and more. Aiden had feelings for Baylor. He admitted and she cracked and admitted that she liked him too. After a long while of casual dating, they went on a date to Perico island and Aiden asked Baylor to marry him. She said yes.
Happy as she can be they plan their wedding and invite all of the department and all of the Emergency medical staff, Friends Family, and more to the wedding. All their close friends and family were there. It was final Baylor McClain became Baylor Jax. Back to her job she worked with the department for a while. From rank to rank after many hard-working shifts, working extra hours to meet ends. Cadet, Deputy, Corporal, Sergeant, up until she was a Lieutenant. She found a separate division that piqued her interest. She joined the homicide detectives. Working away. She didn't know but the Commissioner was watching her. One day after a briefing she was called into the Office by the Commissioner, the Major, and the Undersheriff. She was offered a BIG promotion to Captain of the Los Santo’s Police Department. At first, she was very shocked and not sure to take it or not. But she took the promotion and continued working so very hard. She had proved to herself how strong and amazing she can be on her own. Her husband was her big motivation along the way he really helped her to look in the mirror and see a beautiful strong woman who can overcome any issues she has.
There was a shift in attitude in the way the city was governed and the active Chancellor of the state started to control the Police Department and overthrew what the PD said to suit what the Chancellor wanted that Baylor did not like. Baylor ponders upon the idea of moving to another department to get the respect she deserved. She brought the idea to her husband and he was on board and supported her as he just wanted her happiness. Excited for the hopeful new adventures. She applied for a position with the Los Santos Police Department in hoping to be accepted she is waiting on her approval and is excited for future events to come. New friends, New Adventures, New Accomplishments to come.
