CJ Kross is as plain as plain can get. If we are talking about where she came from. While she grew up in Grapeseed with her parents and little brother, she never really had the privilege to go and see the big city. The only times she can remember going into Los Santos was to go to her mama’s doctors appointments with her at Mount Zonah. Usually she would have to stay behind and babysit her little brother though. You see, her mama was very sick. Cancer. Terminal. The last time she was in the city was to say goodbye to her mama on her death bed. CJ had never cried harder that day. She truly did feel defeated. Defeated and helpless.

Before CJ’s mother died, she told her, “Now baby… You need to get out of that old town of ours. I want you to see the world in my honor.” CJ had never took anything more to heart than that statement. Her father protested for her to stick around for just a little while so he could grieve with his children, and she did that. CJ is very close to her dad and brother, always will be.

After a few months CJ told her daddy what mama had said to her, her final wish for her little girl. Her dad couldn’t protest any longer, he would do anything for his wife - in life or death. So he gave CJ permission to grow up and fulfill that request, as long as she promised to visit often. She was ecstatic!! Finally she could start a life independently, and live in her mother’s memory.

Even though CJ’s mama was a respectable gal, she did always encourage CJ to be her true self and CJ’s true self was a wild child. Her mama would joke about that red hair of hers setting her brain on fire. CJ would always find herself getting into situations around her hometown. Nothing too illegal but just little bouts of trouble with her friends in her school days. She nearly drove her dad crazy with all the shit he would have to sort out for her. Whether it be throwing rocks at the neighbors fence, or hollering at cars passing through main street, and going to every single high school party you could think of, she could always sniff up some fun. Even if she might’ve regretted it in the morning.

With that, CJ has found herself in the massive town of Los Santos, with nothing to her name but her name itself. No connections, no real sense of city life works. Yet she knows she can manage, she has never been afraid of any trouble and can definitely see herself creating her own little future in a not so little city.

CJ has found her time in LS to be extremely hectic yet enjoyable! She came into the city with Chad Max, a friend she has had since she was a child. Starting out doing go postal with him had its ups and downs for sure. She quickly made friends with a redhead named Louie Kingston who introduced her to Miguel Fuentes, her now BFF. CJ got a job at Ari’s Deli but then landed into some trouble which put her on her boss’s radar and quickly got suspended. Right now, she is unemployed but still manages to make money, whether it be mining with Miguel or doing crim things with whoever. She is making her little way in this big city, and is open to new adventures as they come to her.

Peter MacGregor from the Animalz, proposed and married her within the same ten minutes, during one of her shifts at Ari’s. CJ adores Peter and his shenanigans, although their marriage was never deemed “official”.

CJ is now a senior mechanic at River City Customs where she found another place to call home. Being employed at RCC opened up a whole new life of making money legally, but RCC being a hub for many criminals with nowhere else to go, led her into a true "life of crime". She met her current boyfriend, Patrick Pompei, at RCC and they quickly became extremely close. CJ respects and holds RCC very close to her heart, although it can be crazy and hectic more times than not.
