Gabriella Kennedy was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 7th, 1995. She grew up with a lot of siblings, all of which teased her for being the youngest. She has four siblings; Mattteo, Anastasia, Enzo, and Aurora. Her father, Dean Kennedy, was a police officer for the Brooklyn Police and her mother, Valerie Kennedy. was a kindergarten teacher. While growing up, Gabriella grew fond of film production and the news. She loved providing the latest news to her fellow classmates and decided she wanted to pursue a career in journalism. She felt it was a great tool to provide tips and information to help others stay safe. She began to take classes like film and photography and participated in her school’s morning announcements. After graduating high school, she attended New York University (NYU) and completed her bachelor's degree in journalism. Gabi eventually secured a job with her local news station and gained experience as a newscaster. While the topics she reported on varied, she never felt like what she reported on was right for her.

After a few years, she ended up taking a better position at Weazel News in Los Santos where she worked directly with the local police department to get press releases and updates out to the public. As she continued to work with the police force and learn about their day-to-day jobs and responsibilities, she grew a love for their work. It was during that time she made many friends within PD like Baylor and Aiden Jax, Calum Davidson and others. Roughly a year later, newscasting didn't feel like enough for her and her need to help protect others. Because of that, she decided to submit an application to become a Law Enforcement officer with the Los Santos Police Department. She completed her interviews and was accepted into the academy process. As a cadet, Gabi worked hard to learn everything she could to be the best at her job. She loved doing paperwork and investigations, which spiked her interest to apply for the Major Crimes Division (MCD). Gabi became a detective for a short while before transferring back to the LSPD as she missed being out on the streets and helping others.

Gabi currently works in the Los Santos Police Department as a Deputy Chief. She is the Training & Hiring Lead for all of LEO and continues to grow and develop as an officer within the department. She spends her day-to-day life working with many officers to improve their skills, making documents and spreadsheets, and patrolling the city of Los Santos. Gabi is rarely seen off duty as she loves what she does and doesn't clock out often. If she isn't out patrolling, she can be found in her office (the breakroom).
