John Corranado was born in Los Santos, San Andreas, on November 20, 1992, to Rachel and
Anthony Corranado. The Corranado family was well-known in their community and loved by all. Both of John's parents were public servants in the State of San Andreas and battle-tested prosecutors with the State Attorney's Office. Everyone expected their only son, John, to attend law school, but he had other plans for himself. He was exceptionally intelligent and received offers from various Ivy League colleges, so it was a shock to everyone when he enlisted in the United States Army.
Chief Warrant Officer 2 John Corranado enlisted in the Army at 17 and became an Army Ranger in the 75th Ranger Regiment. After three combat tours, his enlistment was ending, but he decided to re-enlist and submit a Warrant Officer package. He was approved for reenlistment and attended Flight School at Ft. Rucker. He flew Blackhawk missions for a few years before being recruited by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment due to his reputation among the Rangers. He served with the 160th SOAR for a few years before his aircraft was shot down, resulting in permanent damage to his eardrums from the explosion. This injury caused him to lose his flight status, leading to his medical retirement.
