    Description:

Joseph Lombardi is an Italian-American man, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing approximately 175 lbs, and moderately athletic. He has a medium-tanned complexion and tends to sport his short black hair in a neatly trimmed undercut, slicked to the back of his head. Lombardi has a well-trimmed mustache that follows his old Liberty City Police Department grooming regulations. He sometimes wears square-framed glasses, but more commonly wears his contacts to hide his vision problems. Lombardi has a noticeably deep, Liberty City accent and can frequently be picked out in a large crowd.

Joseph Lombardi is portrayed by USCCHRIS.

    Biography:

Joseph Francis Lombardi was born on April 5, 1994, to his mother Luciana Lombardi at Schottler Medical Center in Liberty City. He grew up in Hove Beach, Broker, where he went to school just as any other boy his age would. His childhood wasn’t very spectacular as his family was relatively poor. His father, Francis Lombardi, drove a bus for the Liberty City Transit System while his mother tended to his family and the house. “Joey”, as referred to by his parents and close friends, would spend most of his time out of school hanging around with his friend Billy. They would walk to school together in the mornings, and after school, they would play baseball at one of the nearby fields with a group of the older kids. Their school work was often found to be lackluster because they spent so much of their time playing baseball.

When it came time for High School, Joey and Billy remained friends, but they grew apart as the school separated into cliques. Billy played football while Joey stuck to baseball, so the two would go their separate ways for practice. Growing up, Joey became more interested in girls and started dating around, never exactly settling down. Finally, in his senior year of high school, he would begin dating Melanie. Melanie was a quiet, catholic girl who tended to keep to herself more often than not, so dating Joey was a stretch. Joey would try to get Melanie out of her comfort zone by inviting her to parties and other school events, but that was never for her. After a few months, she broke up with him without much more than a “It’s not you, it’s me”.

Joey graduated from high school and got a job with the Liberty City Department of Public Works. While working at the DPW, he met Sal Clemente, an eager man who was always talking about wanting to become a police officer. Wouldn’t you know it? Sal talked Joey into joining him. The two of them applied to the Liberty City Police Department in December 2012 and would attend the academy together from January to June 2013. Once they completed the academy, the duo would be stationed at Hove Beach station. As they progressed in their careers, they got promoted to Detective in late 2015, working together officially as partners. While working a case, Joey met Stephanie Silverton, an ER nurse at Schottler Medical Center. The two quickly became inseparable, and she became Joey’s first real love.

As Detectives, the job Joey and Sal initially signed up for became dirtier. In 2017, Joey and Sal were putting a case together against Anthony Cavelli, the son of Robert Cavelli. The two buried a piece of evidence, allowing Anthony a chance to walk- Robert Cavelli, to this day, owing them a favor. In 2018, Joey and Sal, alongside Detective Josiah Fountaine, investigated the Valasquez Cartel. While Sal and Fountaine followed up on a lead about a new drug shipment by the Cartel, Fountaine would be shot and killed. During the following foot pursuit of the suspects that had killed Fountaine, Sal made his way down an alleyway where he had been struck in the throat with a metal baseball bat by one of them. The assault nearly killed Sal, shattering his vocal cords. Joey arrived a few minutes later and was able to call an ambulance for Sal. Later in the same year, Joey followed up on the incident that killed Fountaine and injured his partner. Joey found himself in a situation chasing the familiar suspect and got shot in the stomach, the suspect getting away. In 2019, Joey and Sal identified the suspect who had attacked both of them and killed Fountaine as Luis Beltran, an enforcer with the Valasquez Cartel. A few weeks later, Luis Beltran was found dead beneath the Broker Bridge, looking to have been tortured before being killed. His murderer was never identified.

In December 2020, Joey would propose to Stephanie, and they would be engaged. As their wedding got closer and closer, Stephanie would be found tortured and murdered in their shared apartment. A week later, her murderer, a low-level member of the Valasquez Cartel, is arrested. He is charged and found guilty on all counts. Joey, trying to escape his demons, transfers from the Liberty City Police Department to the small town of Blue Ridge, Georgia, in September 2021.

In Blue Ridge, Joey, for the most part, would keep to himself. Some nights, he would go out and attempt to drink the pain away at the local bar. On a frigid Georgia night in December, a night different from the rest, he met a rowdy local girl named Melinda Breaux, who would correct everyone to call her “Missy”. Missy was a pretty girl with bookish glasses and a rustic charm, known to commonly start bar fights. “Consensual Combat,” she‘d call it. She stood 5’7, with a clear mix of Korean and Haitian features, built like someone who would wrestle a steer for fun. She was obviously strong, but with a bit of pudge that would soften a mean right hook. Joey introduced himself to her as “Lombardi,” but that quickly disappeared once she learned his first name, forever giving him a toothy grin and a long, drawn-out “Joeeeeeyyyyyy”.

Joey and Missy would drink together regularly. Joey wanted to drown his sorrows, and Missy wanted to DRINK. The pair made an unlikely couple until one night when they’d gone out on a drunken walk to her favorite spot outside of town. There, they opened up for the first time, and Joey would take her to his place, where she would drunkenly fall asleep on his couch- a safe place away from her own problems. The unlikely pair would continue spending each night together until Joey grew up the courage to ask her on a real date in May of 2022. The two would continue seeing each other daily for the next few months, somehow managing to get themselves into a prank war with the neighboring couple, Bruce Payne and Zelda Xavier. Joey, having already lost one of the most important people to him, proposed to Missy before the pair eloped in August. In late December 2022, Joey and Missy would leave Georgia and move to Los Santos together.

In January 2023, Joey and Missy joined Athena Security, working alongside Theresa Indigo, Karina Thorn, Dante Zito, Storm Azure, and their former neighbor, Bruce Payne. At Athena Security, Joey would provide services for Remington’s Jewelry, Sapphire Falls Vineyard, The Hanging Gardens, Hawkin’s Hideout, and other prominent Businesses in San Andreas. In early March, Joey would be shot by the Kilo Tray Ballas while providing security services for the wedding of Emily Campos and Andrew Ducksworth. Luckily, he would heal before attending the police academy for the Los Santos Police Department on May 27, 2023.

Joseph Lombardi completed the training program and became an officer of the LSPD. Early on in his career, Lombardi could be found commonly riding along with Karina Thorn or Reilly Hollis. Eventually, he established himself by closing a few small cases against Barbie Knight-Schmidt, Hans Knight-Schmidt, and Midas Knox. On January 10, 2024, Lombardi became a Detective with the Major Crimes Division and worked closely alongside Cherry Bellefleur. Lombardi spent most of his time in MCD on cases and investigations related to the manufacturing and sale of illegal narcotics in the state. Lombardi had a disdain for drugs, having witnessed many people tear themselves apart through addiction, including his own wife’s addiction and the downfall of Barbie Knight-Schmidt. In June 2024, Lombardi would transfer out of MCD; some say it was a lack of time, and others say it was his demons catching up with him.

Lombardi dedicated his time to training new cadets entering the Los Santos Police Department, riding alongside Malva Greer, Peter Russo, and Kai Moon when not training. Eventually, Missy would leave Los Santos and move back to Georgia, never divorcing Lombardi but leaving him in an unresolved ruin. He would rejoin MCD in late 2024, but was never truly able to reconcile with losing Missy. On February 23, 2025, Lombardi would resign from the Los Santos Police Department and fly to Georgia to attempt to mend his marriage. Whether or not Lombardi will return to San Andreas is unknown, but his memory lives on through those who knew him.
