Faye was born to her father and mother on October 31, 1999. When she was only hours old, the head of the orphanage found her outside the front door after hearing her crying. When she looked to see if there was any indication of who she was, she saw a small card tucked inside her blanket with only two names: Faye Aurora, no last name. The Orphan Keeper took her into the orphanage. After calming her down, she looked down at the name and the young babe in her arms. Faye was the youngest orphan they had at the orphanage so the Orphan Keeper had to give her more attention and care compared to the others who were able to take care of themselves.
The older Faye got, the Orphan Keeper told Faye that her last name was "Lightwood" and had a birth certificate with her legal name on it added to her file. "Faye Aurora Lightwood" was born. Faye continues to do her best to help the Orphan Keeper with all the paperwork and sorting she needs. She made friends with the older kids and used to help them sneak out for extra playtime in the backyard, but sometimes got caught and would get scolded for doing so. The older Faye got, the more she started to focus on her school work but became fascinated with the security and police that would come into the schools. Faye was often found talking to the security to get to know them and what they did for work, it helped the security guards because they'd have someone to chat with and some company. During lunch, she'd sit and each with her friends, but during her breaks and before leaving, she'd go back to the security guards to talk to them. The Head of Security took an interest in seeing Faye's obvious interest in the position, and she spoke with the principal to see if she could "hire" Faye as a Junior Security Guard. After some consideration, the principal agreed that once she reached high school, she would allow it.
A few years later, Faye was "hired" (not getting paid, but it was more so a learning program to help people learn more about their jobs and security protection) as a Junior Security. This delighted Faye, she would continue with her school along with her Junior program. Not a few weeks after being hired as a Junior Security, she got a job as a Barista at the local smoothie restaurant not far from the orphanage to help pay for her things along with helping the Orphan Keeper to take care of the little kids who came after her. Faye graduated from High School with pretty average grades in 2017. She continued to work as a Barista till 2019, when she applied to be a Prison Guard at the local prison due to her experience in security because of the Junior Security program she took part in. She was immediately hired. She worked as a Prison Guard for 5 months before applying to be a Deputy at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department. She worked there for 2 years, getting up to the position of Senior Deputy with many different certifications to follow her.
Faye when she was about 2 and a half years of being a Senior Deputy with Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department, was informed there was some opening within the Los Santos Police Department and Blaine County Sheriff's Office in San Andreas. Hence, she spoke with her Lieutenant about transferring and sent her transfer request to the departments within San Andreas on May 22, 2022. She took two weeks before leaving Palm Beach County to move to San Andreas to say goodbye to her friends and colleagues she had made. On June 11, 2022, she arrived in San Andreas with no idea where she was going but curious about what the future had in store for her. She went to the Vespucci Police Department to speak with Chief Brandon Davis about her transfer request. He informed her that they would be accepting her transfer request and that it would take a couple of days to process it before she could officially be employed within one of the two departments.
