Madeline Alix Jin was born April 18th, 1994 to Alice and Hu Jin. She is the older sister to Stella Jin. Growing up the Jins were constantly moving across the country to set up art galleries for prominent buyers. However, upon moving to Los Santos the Jin Dynasty came under threat. Alice and Hu were accused of art forgery. Something about the type of paint not being of that time period or something like that? While the misunderstanding was resolved the Jin name was now tainted in the art world and thus began the horror.

Alice and Hu began taking out their anger on Maddie and Stella. From verbal abuse to the occasional slap across the face inside the Jin home was a nightmare. Maddie tried to take the most of the abuse to spare Stella the heartache. She became a protector and acted as Stella's caretaker. It was not an easy road for Maddie as she was still only a child herself. It was especially hard with Alice and Hu attempting to use her to further their own agendas. They wanted to use her to form their own alliances. At the time Maddie was not sure what that had meant; she had only heard whispers through closed meeting doors. It had seemed though that her parents had been trying to arrange a marriage to take place when she turned eighteen. It might have been for a price or to restore the name through an alliance but Maddie wanted none of it and at fifteen she took a stand.

In an attempt to clear the dirt from their name further Alice and Hu attended a gala at the Galileo Observatory. However, they never made it home. While they were inside trying to schmooze their way back into good graces Maddie had snuck up that hill and cut the brakes on the car. With the steepness and turns of that roadway Alice and Hu didn't stand a chance.

Of course, at the funeral, Maddie and Stella were perfect figures of society covering their bruises and shedding some tears. They weren't tears of sadness though, they were happy tears because they were finally free. The inheritance they received mainly covered the payments for them to continue to live in their house. But Stella went off the rails.

Maddie tried desperately to keep Stella out of harm's way, even going as far as to bribe officers to not arrest her. Between keeping Stella in line, joining the Chicanos to keep an eye on her and studying so she could go to school to support them both Maddie was swamped. She had also taken a job as an exotic dancer to try and continue to provide for herself and Stella.

Maddie however managed to graduate and upon graduation was asked to work with a distant relative and a mentor she had met while in school. She left her current job as a dancer to move to a different city. She became the secretary for the Department of Justice and was responsible for the organization of the lawyers, judges, cases, name changes, and mediations. Due to her background, she did fill in as a defense attorney when the appointed attorney did not show up. She and her mentor put in a lot of time and effort into building the Department leading new changes and creating an easier system for the populace to use.

While in this city she met her now ex-boyfriend. He was a previous lawyer prior to her arrival, he had retired in order to pursue a job in Law Enforcement wanting to be on the front lines. The two spent a lot of time together however eventually her ex started to go in a different direction. He ended up leaving the force and engaging in criminal activity. While the activity didn’t necessarily bother Maddie due to her past he had also seemed to change along the way. She had found out about an engagement ring, however, a proposal never actually happened. Instead, he vanished without a trace. While confusion had overtaken her thoughts when she wasn’t with others she dove into her work with the DOJ. After a few months had passed without a word her ex reappeared, and this time he was even more different, he was cold to the woman he had almost proposed to. Eventually, the pair got into a fight which resulted in them formally splitting even though they had already been living separate lives and Maddie had already begun to move on without him.

Despite the annoyance her friend from the DOJ had decided to run for mayor and she happily decided to help him win the election. She took care of his campaign needs from event planning, meetings, a website, advertisements, you name it chances are she was on it. When he eventually won Maddie left her post as the DOJ secretary to become the secretary for the mayor. While in office the team had to create a plan with the local police department to take down an illegal fighting ring. The sting operation went off without a hitch and a court case leading to sentencing took place. It was a huge win for the city. However, after that win the term of office came to a close and it was time for Madeline to find a new venture.

This time she went with her passion for cats and bubble tea and opened up the UwU Cafe. The cafe opening was a hit and she made a lot of connections with the other Businesses in the area and formed what could be considered a business alliance. People were constantly coming into the cafe to see the cats, go on dates or just came in to see the staff. Everything seemed to be going fine until Maddie decided to take a vacation to visit distant family. While she was gone a plot occurred in which the cafe ended up being sold out from under here. When she returned she was devastated by the loss. It was then that Maddie decided to go on a journey to rediscover herself. The journey took her to South America and while traveling her visa along with her other belongings were stolen. It took her a bit to receive Stella’s request for her to return home to her.

The time away from the life of the city helped Maddie rediscover herself and helped her take time to see what was important. She had a bit of a realization that she was too trusting and too kind. But her time away has made her more than happy to be the manifestation of karma and getting what she wants. She refuses to go through the pain she did prior even if it makes her seem cold-hearted.

Her primary motivation is to find work that drives her passions. Growing up there had been some pressure for her to take over in the art world for her parents but due to the circumstances, Maddie resented the burden. She did however always enjoy art. Perhaps now that her parents are gone and she’s graduated she will take this into consideration. She also has to remain vigilant in regard to her parent's death, if the cold case is ever reopened it could point to her in the end. She is also very worried about the other family who had been plotting with her parents. If they came for her she would be at a loss. It’s completely possible that the other family knows what she did and might someday come to collect on the promises of Alice and Hu. Maddie walks a fine line between the law and the world of crime, who knows… one day she might slip.

Upon moving to the city Maddie was reunited with many familiar faces. Stella brought her to see one familiar face that set Maddie's initial career path- Nicholai Solemko. He witnessed her in a courtroom before. Nic and Stella had also become friends so when Maddie returned Nicholai asked if she would be interested in becoming an affiliate to which she agreed. She agreed to take the bar and represent the family. Aside from becoming a lawyer for the family Maddie began to work for Tumble Matchmaking and began to help with events and a special project. Maddie began to hang out with members of the family on a regular basis and somewhere along the way she got to know Jack Gonzalez. Maddie and Jack met briefly upon her arrival. She thought he was just a flirt/jokester. But later on, he allowed her to borrow one of his cars which really helped her get on her feet. While their interactions were always somewhat brief he always managed to make her laugh. On a family outing, Jack decided to approach Maddie saying he wanted to get to know her better. She was a bit cautious initially but ended up agreeing to just see what happened. On the second outing it was discovered Maddie really couldn't swim but she did manage to realize that Jack had gone overboard. The two ended up in the hospital and Nic told them they were not allowed to go to the hospital anymore. After a family hiking trip, the two managed to end up in Pillbox after rangers struggled to retrieve them. Maddie also managed to go flying off her bike later landing her back in Pillbox. While there Jack began passing her notes. After Doctor Z finished her treatment and they managed to get the bike back to where it belonged she wrote a note back that confirmed the relationship. The family began to have some issues though between tensions with other groups and within the family. This eventually led to the family dissolving and eventually falling away.

When Stella went through some personal situations the two left to go to Italy. While away there was a situation in which the apartment she and Jack shared collapsed. Upon the collapse Jack suffered a head injury forgetting that Maddie was not in the building. This led her to be declared dead. Maddie was extremely confused upon her return and people exclaiming that she wasn't dead. She has since reunited with her old friends. She has finally decided that she never has had a passion for law and she had primarily been doing it to protect others. But this time around she isn't afraid of crossing the line. She has since picked up a job with Purple Fantasy and is assisting Stella with reviving Dreamcore.

• Maddie absolutely LOVES cats, Foxes, and red pandas
• Maddie is extremely nice but she's very guarded when it comes to personal emotional matters. She will tend to try and brush things off rather than deal with it. This is partly due to the dysfunction between her parents. She watched them throughout her life and figured it is easier to not deal with it.
• Maddie is also a bit of a nerd, if you say the right thing she will talk to you forever
• Maddie also enjoys painting but she refuses to show off her work
• Maddie has a few spots she can be found if she just wants to relax- one is under the Los Santos Sign in the grassy area, on secluded beaches, and at the top of Mt. Chiliad.
• Maddie’s favorite color is: Maroon (shocker that it’s not blue)
• If given the choice Maddie will usually drive a motorcycle over a car.
• Maddie used to have a Scottish Terrier named Toto who was very loyal to her and would attack if he thought Maddie was being threatened. The police really didn’t like him.
• Maddie is a horrible getaway driver… don’t ask her… she will flip the car and you all will get caught.
• Maddie is scared of frogs/toads
• If her parents are brought up Maddie will become extremely uncomfortable and will change the topic of conversation.
• Maddie never found out who the other family was that her parents had been plotting with. Part of her fears they will eventually come for her to try and fulfill the promises made in that room.

Stella Jin- Sister/Tumble Coworker/ Vineyard: Maddie is incredibly protective of Stella, she will do whatever is necessary to make sure her sister is safe. This includes keeping secrets about their past. Stella does not know the truth about their parent's death nor about the backroom deal that was made regarding Maddie. In Maddie's eyes, the less Stella knows about those topics the safer Stella will be under plausible deniability. Stella and Maddie however do work very well together either in calming each other down or making something happen it just depends. The sisters are extremely close and will tell each other everything and you can normally find them together if they awaken at the same time. Their hair colors have led them to be called the Cotton Candy Sisters as well as Bon Bon Twins (although they are not twins.)







Armando Iglesias: Maddie has a huge soft spot from Armando Iglesias. The Jin sisters very much view him as their brother. Stella and Maddie's biological brother was put away for life for various crimes as well as under the suspicion of their parents death. But Mando in their eyes is a closer brother figure to them than their biological brother ever was. The sisters care very deeply for him and would be devastated if anything happened to him. It's quite evident in Maddie's interactions with Mando as she typically demands he comes back in one piece and will check in on him every so often. Her relationship with Mando is a little bit different than his relationship with Stella due to the fact that she has dated one of his best friends. Despite this Maddie would absolutely pull the trigger if his life was on the line and not think twice about it.




Hans Schmidt: Hans Schmidt is Maddie's best friend. When he's not being an idiot you'll typically find them in the same vicinity. Unfortunately for most, the two are fairly similar although it wasn't fully realized until Maddie returned from Europe and left the law behind her. Upon her return Hans tended to "kidnap" her which really meant he just didn't want to go somewhere alone. During said "kidnappings" Hans began to realize that prior to Europe the Maddie he knew was really just a mask. The pair will seek each other out pretty often typically to go drifting. They also tend to confide in each other when they need to vent which was evident when Maddie almost blew up, but Hans managed to swoop in and take her some where so she could blow off steam without ending up in prison. She will refer to him as her best friend as well.

Andrew Malone is someone Maddie absolutely adores. She finds him incredibly sweet and funny, they both get along quite well. She trusts him implicitly. They don't get to spend a ton of time together but she cherishes the time she does get to spend with him, even if he and Jojo try to lock her in Burgershot sometimes. When Andrew went away to prison Maddie was extremely upset. She does feel guilty that she was never able to catch him at the correct time to visit him in jail. However, for the trial she replicated his tattoo with makeup. She was ecstatic when the boys were finally released.

Konnor Krush came out if left field and into Maddie's life. She had been extremely content keeping things low key and not getting seriously attached to anyone. But working at Dreamcore means you tend to run into people and Konnor was one of those people. He came in for an audition for a TV show and Maddie was handling the flow as well as the portfolios. She noticed how attractive he was but pushed it aside figuring he wasn't available and she needed to work. The two went their separate ways until there was a situation which led to Konnor being required for an episode which ironically was the episode Maddie would be also starring in. She texted him asking if he would still be interested in working with DC and he said yes. She made a playful comment about him being stuck directly with her on the episode and thus began the flirty texts. It took Maddie very off guard, she actually thought she was just reading into the messages at first not thinking he would be interested in her. But after he ran into her working at Purple Fantasy & later at dice night things started to pick up more. After DJ Spirits appearance at Metal Monday Konnor and Maddie went on their first date. He took her jumping which maybe not the smartest idea since she was so accident prone but she did it anyway. The first attempt wasn't pretty and led her to pillbox. The second one though was very fun for the pair. Their night ended with him walking her to the door and asking if he could kiss her goodnight which she said yes to. They began dating October 1st, 2024.



Benny Bandito tended to be on the outskirts of Maddies life prior to her trip to Europe. She knew him as Stella's friend and part of why Stella ended up hurt at one point. The situation wasn't his fault but he was a tipping point for a crazy ex of his. The two had friendly banter sometimes but they were in different places and never really crossed. The only exception was when it came to filming a TV show. She was part of the film team who went to jail to film him. Upon her return from Europe he became more prevalent in Maddie's life. She began to crash on Elsie's couch in the basement making her one of Benny's roommates. Maddie ended up working at his club Purple Fantasy. After her first night she drank something which impaired her mind and meant she was unable to drive. Benny stayed with her to ensure she was safe until she was able to drive. She texted him later thanking him for looking out for her. This began their friendship. Maddie is very sassy when it comes to Benny which he finds amusing and somewhat of a surprise as he had always struggled to figure her out.

REST IN PEACE FRIENDS:

Logan Eynon- Co-worker (Tumble)/Friend: Maddie and Logan met through work specifically when Maddie called him out for HR violations... even though he is HR. Turns out he was just tending to his wounds from a murder kitten. The two get along very well and have even schemed together. Logan created the "Bon Bon Twins" even though Maddie and Stella are not twins and has dubbed Maddie as Bluey. The pair went on a lot of adventures just around the city. Maddie was absolutely devastated by Logan's passing. She ended up taking time away from the hustle and bustle of the city to mourn in peace at a retreat.

Lucas White- Lucas and Maddie met through Stella and hung out on occasion. She always enjoyed hanging out with him and listening to his music. She has worked with him on projects in the past. She was very sad upon learning the news of his death.
