Madeline Alix Jin was born April 18th, 1994 to Alice and Hu Jin. She is the older sister to Stella Jin. Growing up the Jins were constantly moving across the country to set up art galleries for prominent buyers. However, upon moving to Los Santos the Jin Dynasty came under threat. Alice and Hu were accused of art forgery. Something about the type of paint not being of that time period or something like that? While the misunderstanding was resolved the Jin name was now tainted in the art world and thus began the horror.

Alice and Hu began taking out their anger on Maddie and Stella. From verbal abuse to the occasional slap across the face inside the Jin home was a nightmare. Maddie tried to take the most of the abuse to spare Stella the heartache. She became a protector and acted as Stella's caretaker. It was not an easy road for Maddie as she was still only a child herself. It was especially hard with Alice and Hu attempting to use her to further their own agendas. They wanted to use her to form their own alliances. At the time Maddie was not sure what that had meant; she had only heard whispers through closed meeting doors. It had seemed though that her parents had been trying to arrange a marriage to take place when she turned eighteen. It might have been for a price or to restore the name through an alliance but Maddie wanted none of it and at fifteen she took a stand.

In an attempt to clear the dirt from their name further Alice and Hu attended a gala at the Galileo Observatory. However, they never made it home. While they were inside trying to schmooze their way back into good graces Maddie had snuck up that hill and cut the brakes on the car. With the steepness and turns of that roadway Alice and Hu didn't stand a chance.

Of course, at the funeral, Maddie and Stella were perfect figures of society covering their bruises and shedding some tears. They weren't tears of sadness though, they were happy tears because they were finally free. The inheritance they received mainly covered the payments for them to continue to live in their house. But Stella went off the rails.

Maddie tried desperately to keep Stella out of harm's way, even going as far as to bribe officers to not arrest her. Between keeping Stella in line, joining the Chicanos to keep an eye on her and studying so she could go to school to support them both Maddie was swamped. She had also taken a job as an exotic dancer to try and continue to provide for herself and Stella.

Maddie however managed to graduate and upon graduation was asked to work with a distant relative and a mentor she had met while in school. She left her current job as a dancer to move to a different city. She became the secretary for the Department of Justice and was responsible for the organization of the lawyers, judges, cases, name changes, and mediations. Due to her background, she did fill in as a defense attorney when the appointed attorney did not show up. She and her mentor put in a lot of time and effort into building the Department leading new changes and creating an easier system for the populace to use.

While in this city she met her now ex-boyfriend. He was a previous lawyer prior to her arrival, he had retired in order to pursue a job in Law Enforcement wanting to be on the front lines. The two spent a lot of time together however eventually her ex started to go in a different direction. He ended up leaving the force and engaging in criminal activity. While the activity didn’t necessarily bother Maddie due to her past he had also seemed to change along the way. She had found out about an engagement ring, however, a proposal never actually happened. Instead, he vanished without a trace. While confusion had overtaken her thoughts when she wasn’t with others she dove into her work with the DOJ. After a few months had passed without a word her ex reappeared, and this time he was even more different, he was cold to the woman he had almost proposed to. Eventually, the pair got into a fight which resulted in them formally splitting even though they had already been living separate lives and Maddie had already begun to move on without him.

Despite the annoyance her friend from the DOJ had decided to run for mayor and she happily decided to help him win the election. She took care of his campaign needs from event planning, meetings, a website, advertisements, you name it chances are she was on it. When he eventually won Maddie left her post as the DOJ secretary to become the secretary for the mayor. While in office the team had to create a plan with the local police department to take down an illegal fighting ring. The sting operation went off without a hitch and a court case leading to sentencing took place. It was a huge win for the city. However, after that win the term of office came to a close and it was time for Madeline to find a new venture.

This time she went with her passion for cats and bubble tea and opened up the UwU Cafe. The cafe opening was a hit and she made a lot of connections with the other Businesses in the area and formed what could be considered a business alliance. People were constantly coming into the cafe to see the cats, go on dates or just came in to see the staff. Everything seemed to be going fine until Maddie decided to take a vacation to visit distant family. While she was gone a plot occurred in which the cafe ended up being sold out from under here. When she returned she was devastated by the loss. It was then that Maddie decided to go on a journey to rediscover herself. The journey took her to South America and while traveling her visa along with her other belongings were stolen. It took her a bit to receive Stella’s request for her to return home to her.

The time away from the life of the city helped Maddie rediscover herself and helped her take time to see what was important. She had a bit of a realization that she was too trusting and too kind. But her time away has made her more than happy to be the manifestation of karma and getting what she wants. She refuses to go through the pain she did prior even if it makes her seem cold-hearted.

Her primary motivation is to find work that drives her passions. Growing up there had been some pressure for her to take over in the art world for her parents but due to the circumstances, Maddie resented the burden. She did however always enjoy art. Perhaps now that her parents are gone and she’s graduated she will take this into consideration. She also has to remain vigilant in regard to her parent's death, if the cold case is ever reopened it could point to her in the end. She is also very worried about the other family who had been plotting with her parents. If they came for her she would be at a loss. It’s completely possible that the other family knows what she did and might someday come to collect on the promises of Alice and Hu. Maddie walks a fine line between the law and the world of crime, who knows… one day she might slip.

• Maddie absolutely LOVES cats, Foxes, and red pandas
• Maddie is extremely nice but she's very guarded when it comes to personal emotional matters. She will tend to try and brush things off rather than deal with it. This is partly due to the dysfunction between her parents. She watched them throughout her life and figured it is easier to not deal with it.
• Maddie is also a bit of a nerd, if you say the right thing she will talk to you forever
• Maddie also enjoys painting but she refuses to show off her work
• Maddie has a few spots she can be found if she just wants to relax- one is under the Los Santos Sign in the grassy area, on secluded beaches, and at the top of Mt. Chiliad.
• Maddie’s favorite color is: Maroon (shocker that it’s not blue)
• If given the choice Maddie will usually drive a motorcycle over a car.
• Maddie used to have a Scottish Terrier named Toto who was very loyal to her and would attack if he thought Maddie was being threatened. The police really didn’t like him.
• Maddie is a horrible getaway driver… don’t ask her… she will flip the car and you all will get caught.
• Maddie is scared of frogs/toads
• If her parents are brought up Maddie will become extremely uncomfortable and will change the topic of conversation.
• Maddie never found out who the other family was that her parents had been plotting with. Part of her fears they will eventually come for her to try and fulfill the promises made in that room.

Stella Jin- Sister/Tumble Coworker/ Vineyard: Maddie is incredibly protective of Stella, she will do whatever is necessary to make sure her sister is safe. This includes keeping secrets about their past. Stella does not know the truth about their parent's death nor about the backroom deal that was made regarding Maddie. In Maddie's eyes, the less Stella knows about those topics the safer Stella will be under plausible deniability. Stella and Maddie however do work very well together either in calming each other down or making something happen it just depends. The sisters are extremely close and will tell each other everything and you can normally find them together if they awaken at the same time. Their hair colors have led them to be called the Cotton Candy Sisters as well as Bon Bon Twins (although they are not twins.)

Jack Gonzalez - Significant Other- Maddie and Jack met briefly upon her arrival. She thought he was just a flirt/jokester. But later on, he allowed her to borrow one of his cars which really helped her get on her feet. While their interactions were always somewhat brief he always managed to make her laugh. On a family outing, Jack decided to approach Maddie saying he wanted to get to know her better. She was a bit cautious initially but ended up agreeing to just see what happened. On the second outing it was discovered Maddie really couldn't swim but she did manage to realize that Jack had gone overboard. The two ended up in the hospital and Nic told them they were not allowed to go to the hospital anymore. After a family hiking trip, the two managed to end up in Pillbox after rangers struggled to retrieve them. Maddie also managed to go flying off her bike later landing her back in Pillbox. While there Jack began passing her notes. After Doctor Z finished her treatment and they managed to get the bike back to where it belonged she wrote a note back that confirmed the relationship

Armando Iglesias- Friend: Maddie met Armando through Stella upon her arrival to the city. She views him as someone semi-level-headed and that she can talk to. This brought up their running joke that Mando is her counselor. At the moment she trusts him completely, although still not enough to talk about certain things. He's usually also able to make her laugh even if she doesn't really want to. She becomes extremely concerned when she can tell something is off with Mando as well and will typically ask him about it. Although, he normally dodges fully answering what's wrong. The two have a very good relationship and can be completely honest with each other.

Nicholai Solemko- Friend/Vineyard: Nic and Maddie met while she was working in a different place. He witnessed her in a courtroom before. Nic and Stella had also become friends so when Maddie returned Nicholai asked if she would be interested in becoming an affiliate to which she agreed. Maddie has accidentally boosted him to god before when they were riding their BMX bikes which led to a hospital trip and Nic ended up with a concussion.




Hans Schmidt- Friend/Sponsor/Coworker (Tumble & Vineyard): Hans is someone Maddie thinks is hilarious and typically ends up laughing when with him. He has also helped her out which she is incredibly grateful for including a place to crash for a while. Maddie feels comfortable around Hans and is open to talking to him when she has concerns. The two sometimes can be found running around with cat plushies or dropping it down. Hans tends to use Maddie as a punching bag (and calls her his punching bag.) He also tends to tell her he is giving her purple soda... but it's never actually purple soda.



Logan Eynon- Co-worker (Tumble)/Friend: Maddie and Logan met through work specifically when Maddie called him out for HR violations... even though he is HR. Turns out he was just tending to his wounds from a murder kitten. The two get along very well and have even schemed together. Logan created the "Bon Bon Twins" even though Maddie and Stella are not twins and has dubbed Maddie as Bluey. The pair went on a lot of adventures just around the city. Maddie was absolutely devastated by Logan's passing. She ended up taking time away from the hustle and bustle of the city to mourn in peace at a retreat.


Hans Roulette- Friend/Stella's Boyfriend- Despite Maddie calling Roulette Lucifer/Luci and him returning the favor by calling her a brat and pain in the ass, the two actually get along pretty well. She likes him as a person and thinks he's very good to her sister. She's very supportive of their relationship. The two have similar senses of humor which helps them get along. These two will also scheme together.





Elsie Shaw- Friend/Co-Worker (Tumble & Vineyard)- Maddie and Elsie get along very well. While they fear each other's driving they still manage to get to places in one piece. It feels as though they have known each other for a long time. They can usually be found hanging out together with Stella or the rest of the group. They also work together at Tumble and the winery. These two are also known for getting into random mischief.



Chesty Duke - Friend/Co-Worker (Vineyard)- Maddie has a lot of respect for Chesty. Chesty is fondly referred to as the mom of the group which Maddie understands pretty well. You can usually find both of them at The Craft Bar or working together on events. Maddie usually ends up laughing due to something Chesty says. The two have worked well together so far. Chesty and Maddie also work together at the winery. They have recreated some of Dame's finest moments as well.








Scarlett Keingston- Friend- Maddie finds Scar absolutely hilarious, from the jokes to stories Scarlett is hilarious. Scarlett also tends to dance on the bar which leads to them hanging around each other a bit.






Sappfire White- Friend/Co-Worker (Vineyard)- Sapphire is a new friend of Maddie's who recently joined the family. Maddie enjoys hanging out with Sapphire and her antics of wanting to play baseball with the police. They can usually be found at The Craft Bar together dancing on the bar. They have also done a photoshoot together with Stella and Elsie.






Midas Knox- Sponsor - Friend: Maddie was slightly intimidated by Midas when she first met him due to his wealth of knowledge. But the more she got to know him the more she respects him. He has been such a huge help since she arrived in the city, especially in learning about the legal process in the state and other such matters. While Chesty is the mom of the group, Midas is most certainly the dad when it comes to keeping people in line.

Lucas White- Friend - Maddie and Lucas met through Stella. He also took Maddie on a Public Works adventure which was pure chaos... but chaos seems to sum up Lucas pretty well. She enjoys it when he shares his music with her while they drive around or wait for something. The private concert at Mirror Park Tavern which ended up causing a bunch of people to show up was definitely a highlight.

Bishop Darko- Friend/Tumble in Paradise Co-Worker- Maddie and Darko don't see each other too often but they do get along. They tried out Corner Pocket together and Darko ended up beating Maddie. Maddie has since demanded a rematch since it had been a while since she played. Their rematch has yet to occur though.




Lewis Hill- Maddie and Lewis met under very sad circumstances. He managed to pull her number from his cousin Logan's phone and called her when Logan passed. She didn't really process the grief of loss well and she left the city for a time. Upon her return, Lewis reached back out and the two developed a friendship. They plan on working together in a few capacities.

Valentina Iglesias- Tina is Mando's sister which means Maddie views her as family automatically. She is absolutely hilarious though and she loves what a hard time she gives Mando. Maddie and Tina recently went on an adventure floating with Lewis, Stella, Sapp, and Xander but it unfortunately ended up with Tina drowning. Everyone managed to get EMS to help and they all met up at the hospital.

Miles Matthews- Employer (Tumble): Miles was one of the first people Maddie upon her arrival. The two got to chatting and Miles offered to interview her for Tumble. A few days later the two met up (Miles was having a yoga session) and ended up hiring Maddie. He has also mentioned Cockatoos to her and has mentioned she should attend sometime.
